Make a Techlaration!

Consider making a “Techlaration” this year in your classroom.  Sit down and go over a few commitments that you want to follow that will make a statement to your students, their parents, and your colleagues.
Here are a few that you might want to select to challenge your integration of technology:

  1. Use as little paper as possible.
  2. Incorporate current articles from the Internet on a weekly basis.
  3. Create a well produced and designed Slideshow a month.
  4. Find three creative ways to use video in your class (not using YouTube!).

I’ll break down each one of these four points in the coming days ahead, and provide some practical tips to accomplish each one.  In the meantime you might be able to think of a few of your own.
You are competent and now it’s time for you to make a Techlaration!
